About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide customer-focused service, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of Emerson marine products.
- Perform on-site activities such as commissioning, testing, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
- Prepare timely, accurate, and complete service reports in line with established standards.
- Deliver technical training and presentations to customers and internal teams to build product understanding and capability.
- Offer remote technical support via phone and email for both new and existing customers.
- Partner with sales teams to support technical discussions, customer meetings, and onboard surveys.
- Manage pre- and post-service administrative activities to ensure smooth execution and documentation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 2 years of working experience in the marine industry, working onboard vessels or offshore installations.
- Good analytical & solving skills coupled with minimum sales/marketing skills.
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills, especially influencing skills.
- A collaborative mindset and a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel, including frequent or short-notice assignments when required.
- Working knowledge and hands-on experience on hydraulic systems and their applications.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and networking concepts (such as Modbus, P-NET, TCP/IP, and Ethernet).
