About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Respond to incoming customer enquiries from Australia and New Zealand with professionalism and care.
- Understand customer needs and expectations to recommend suitable products and solutions.
- Propose alternative products based on cost, availability, or technical specifications where appropriate.
- Provide first‑level technical product support and collaborate with subject matter experts when escalation is required.
- Prepare and process customer orders, quotations, returns, and changes accurately and efficiently.
- Present pricing, credit, and commercial terms in line with established procedures.
- Communicate estimated lead times and suggest options to help customers meet delivery requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to track order status and meet delivery commitments.
- Partner with external sales colleagues to support account strategies and sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records in customer relationship management systems and provide regular updates to key customers.
- Work in line with quality, safety, and operational procedures.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in an inside sales, customer service, or coordination role within a technical or industrial environment.
- Confidence using customer relationship management systems and standard office tools.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
