About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and support contract renewal activities across Emerson Systems & Software solutions.
  • Own the end-to-end quote-to-order process, including quotation preparation, contract administration, order processing, and follow-up activities.
  • Proactively monitor upcoming contract expirations and ensure renewals are completed within established timelines.
  • Engage customers to support maintenance agreement, subscription, and lifecycle service renewals.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Sales, Customer Care, Factories, Licensing Teams, Finance, Legal, and Operations to ensure successful execution of customer orders.
  • Analyze customer requirements and contract details to prepare accurate commercial offers.
  • Support pricing discussions and identify opportunities to improve renewal success and customer retention.
  • Maintain accurate customer and contract information within the company's business systems and tools.
  • Track portfolio performance against key business objectives including renewal rates, customer retention, and recurring revenue targets.
  • Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree.
  • Professional experience providing sales support, inside sales, customer service, contract administration, commercial operations, or a similar customer-facing business function.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global team environment.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in Inside Sales, Customer Success, Contract Renewals, Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, or Order Management environments.
  • Experience working with software subscriptions, maintenance agreements, service contracts, or recurring revenue business models.
  • Knowledge of ERP and CRM systems such as Oracle, Salesforce, or similar business platforms.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Additional European language skills such as Russian, German, or Italian.
  • Experience working in a multinational or matrix organization.
