About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and achieve bookings targets for the Measurement Solutions portfolio within assigned customer segments using digital and remote engagement
- Maintain an accurate sales forecast and ensure consistent delivery against monthly and quarterly goals
- Serve as the primary customer contact, providing seamless pre- and post-sales support across the entire sales cycle
- Support customers with product selection, application guidance, and order placement through digital platforms
- Promote and enable adoption of Emerson’s digital tools to enhance customer engagement and efficiency
- Follow up on quotations and opportunities to improve conversion rates and drive order closure
- Monitor and act on digital leads, proactively converting opportunities within your assigned segments
- Use data insights, customer segmentation, and whitespace analysis to drive account growth strategies
- Identify and develop opportunities in new industries and emerging markets within Egypt
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, product managers, and internal teams to create differentiated customer solutions
- Support implementation of new digital tools and technologies to advance sales effectiveness
- Stay updated on the Measurement Solutions portfolio, including new product introductions
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity, contributing insights to business development strategies
- Uphold Emerson’s business ethics and compliance standards in all interactions
- Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A degree in engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in sales, application engineering, or technical customer engagement in industrial or process industries
- Ability to manage customer relationships and sales activities through digital platforms and tools
- Strong commercial awareness, including familiarity with sales processes and contract considerations
- Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to be based in Cairo and support customers across Egypt
