Senior Documentation Project Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and document project scope and requirements in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
- Align documentation priorities with product roadmaps and organizational objectives
- Plan and allocate resources based on team capacity and project needs
- Establish clear timelines, milestones, and success criteria through structured project planning
- Lead project kickoff meetings to ensure clarity on scope, expectations, risks, and deliverables
- Manage end-to-end execution of documentation projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
- Govern scope by managing change requests and maintaining alignment with agreed objectives
- Foster collaboration across teams to remove blockers and sustain project momentum
- Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and progress to stakeholders and leadership
- Identify and proactively mitigate risks, escalating when necessary to maintain delivery commitments
- Track and report key performance metrics, dashboards, and success indicators
- Close projects effectively, confirming stakeholder acceptance and documenting outcomes
- Facilitate retrospectives to gather feedback and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Promote and reinforce consistent processes to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Manage external vendor relationships as needed to support documentation deliverables
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives using data-driven insights and team feedback
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills, enabling clear and effective collaboration across teams
- Proven organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and maintain focus on outcomes
- Experience building relationships and influencing without direct authority
- Comfort working with project tracking tools and structured workflows
- A commitment to continuous learning and improvement
- Experience supporting technical documentation or content development projects (preferred)
- Familiarity with Agile or similar project management methodologies (preferred)
