About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive proactive business development by identifying and securing new opportunities across Iberia, with a strong focus on customers in and around Madrid
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers, including C-level stakeholders, across customers, EPCs, and industry partners
  • Lead strategic sales conversations that align Emerson’s value proposition with customer business goals
  • Collaborate across business units to deliver integrated, high-value solutions
  • Stay informed on market dynamics, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within target industries
  • Conduct regular in-person customer visits to strengthen partnerships and uncover growth opportunities
  • Develop and execute strategic account and territory plans focused on long-term value creation
  • Represent Emerson with professionalism, credibility, and confidence in all customer interactions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic sales or business development, with a strong track record of generating new business opportunities
  • Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and lead high-level commercial discussions
  • Deep understanding of the Iberian market, particularly Spain, and how to navigate key industry players
  • Fluency in Spanish and professional proficiency in English
  • Willingness and ability to conduct frequent in-person customer meetings (daily visits expected)
  • Strong market awareness across sectors such as industrial, energy, infrastructure, or related industries
  • A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
