AI and Data Engineering Intern

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborating with internal auditors and engineering teams to understand audit workflows, data sources, and key challenges
- Developing AI and machine learning prototypes for anomaly detection, risk scoring, and data classification
- Building automation tools that streamline audit procedures and improve operational efficiency
- Supporting model evaluation, validation, and tuning to enhance accuracy and reliability
- Assisting in integrating AI components into internal tools and dashboards used by audit teams
- Documenting methodologies, models, and technical outputs to enable knowledge sharing and reuse
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 480 hours; both required and voluntary interns are welcome.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Interest in applying AI in business domains such as audit, risk, or compliance
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams
- Willingness to learn and apply new technologies in practical scenarios
