About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and execute on RF/microwave designs (e.g. front ends, LO/PLL, filters, mixers, PAs/LNAs, switches/couplers), and using Mentor/Cadence/Altium and advanced RF & EM simulation tools (e.g. AWR, CST, SPICE/LTspice)
Develop test strategies and perform characterization of RF designs using VNAs, spectrum/signal analyzers, vector generators, oscilloscopes, and automated test frameworks
Drive concepts through prototyping, development, V&V, compliance (EMC/safety, RoHS/REACH), NPI, and sustaining activities with minimal oversight
Exercise communication, judgment, decision-making, and critical thinking in complex technical environments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically 2+ years with a B.S. in EE/ECE
Strong understanding of electrical engineering, electronics, and RF principles
Practical knowledge with RF components (amplifiers, couplers, striplines)
Understanding of RF/wireless communications, S-parameters, Smith Charts, frequency-domain analysis, intermodulation
Experience in the practical use of measurement instruments (Signal Analyzer, VNA, Oscilloscope)
Knowledge of microwave modeling tools (e.g. Microwave Office, AXiEM, CST, ADS, HFSS)
Knowledge of schematic capture and PCB design tools (e.g. Mentor Graphics, Cadence, Altium)
Good command of spoken and written English
Authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship.
