About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define the strategy for AI-augmented firmware architectures.
- Architect automated orchestration frameworks to streamline system requirements.
- Design and develop firmware for professional tools with embedded electronics.
- Lead system design, including architecture design and system requirements development.
- Conduct concept feasibility assessments and technical risk evaluations.
- Provide technical leadership to uphold software quality standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and support field investigations throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience with firmware development
- Legal authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided
- Expertise in designing modular firmware architectures
- Familiarity with leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Knowledge of embedded systems design (drivers, RTOS, ISRs, etc.)
- Experience with agile development methods and dev ops
