Sales/Account Manager – Renewables
EmersonSales/Account Manager in the renewables power sector across the Nordics, specializing in wind, solar PV, and battery storage systems. Responsible for prospecting, driving sales, and managing key accounts.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implement and continuously improve the local sales strategy and tactics throughout the agreed region, developing the business leveraging Emerson’s product portfolio.
- Identify and prospect, develop, drive, and close sales opportunities.
- Own the allocated order budget throughout each fiscal year.
- Account management for assigned customers.
- Actively collaborate within the local and European sales team to support market growth across the Nordic region.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Five to ten years of commercial or sales experience within the renewable energy sector.
- Strong background in utility‑scale wind, with working knowledge of solar PV and BESS market trends and ancillary services.
- Proven ability to build pipeline and close complex sales, covering both new‑build projects and retrofit/modernization solutions.
- Demonstrated success managing the full sales cycle, including senior‑level customer engagement and contract negotiations.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience using CRM systems and sales enablement tools to drive profitable growth.
- Fluent in English & Danish; proficiency in more than one Nordic language is an advantage.
