Global Manufacturing Operations Director

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute global operational strategies that align with business goals and support sustainable growth
- Lead daily operations across multiple regions, ensuring consistent performance, efficiency, and operational excellence
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other process optimization frameworks
- Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities
- Partner closely with leaders in Sales, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and other functions to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives
- Oversee global supply chain and logistics strategy to optimize cost, service levels, and delivery performance
- Ensure compliance with international regulatory, safety, and quality standards
- Lead, develop, and support a high-performing global operations team, promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous development
- Anticipate and mitigate operational risks while strengthening business continuity plans
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control processes for global operations
- Champion digital transformation and technology adoption to enhance data-driven decision-making
- Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and customers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a global or multi-regional role
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, manufacturing and logistics.
- Demonstrated ability to lead an influence cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (25–40%)
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
