About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage operational activities related to OM orders and PA projects.
- Monitor delivery milestones, ensuring alignment between planning, execution, and customer commitments.
- Support Project Managers in tracking scope, schedule, and financial performance.
- Identify risks or deviations related to costs, billing, and deadlines, proposing corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure organization and maintenance of project documentation according to PMO standards.
- Manage project financial control, including baseline budgets, cost monitoring, variance analysis, and margin.
- Execute activities in ERP systems (Oracle), including project setup, billing, and closure.
- Monitor cash flow and financial commitment reports.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of the billing process.
- Support data analysis and financial reporting.
- Support the creation and maintenance of schedules in tools such as MS Project.
- Track delivery deadlines and coordinate alignments with internal stakeholders.
- Monitor progress against critical milestones and report deviations.
- Work with Document Control to ensure compliance with documentation delivery dates.
- Maintain structures and information in project management software (Clarity).
- Perform WBS setup, resource allocation, and project closeout processes.
- Keep data repositories organized (SharePoint, DocPro, or MS Teams).
- Apply project controls best practices and lessons learned.
- Support the development and improvement of project control processes and procedures.
- Contribute to activities related to the S&OP process when applicable.
- Share knowledge and support internal training as needed.
- Promote the use of Emerson's corporate policies within the PMO project environment.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related fields.
- Experience in project administration or support, project controls, or order coordination.
- Knowledge of cost control, billing, and basic scheduling concepts.
- Experience with ERP systems and project management tools.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
- Knowledge of Office 365.
- Advanced English.
