About the role
- Manage software development projects in an Agile environment
- Collaborate with a globally distributed project team of approximately 50 engineers
- Drive decision-making and project plans to deliver results
- Develop project plans and requirements in collaboration with the marketing department
- Organize and track work assignments throughout the product development lifecycle
- Ensure strong communication within the team and with external stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Coordinate relevant activities with test and documentation managers
- Report on project status to management and other groups
- Manage continuation activities to support existing customers
- Participate in compliance audits (e.g., QA, ISO, customer audits) and continuous improvement activities
- Enforce adherence to development processes, standards, and best practices
- Collaborate with the Reliability Solutions management team to achieve departmental goals
- Stay informed about the competitive landscape and competitor product features
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional complex engineering product development experience with an advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering
- 5+ years of professional experience in Product/Project management/Systems Engineering, preferably in Agile culture
- Practical understanding of Agile frameworks including SAFe and software development lifecycle
- Strong background in full-cycle software development and maintenance within a product-centric environment
- Solid understanding of contemporary software technologies, tools, and methodologies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Polish (C1+ level proficiency)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
- Willingness to work flexible hours to align with local and remote engineering centers
- Ability to create and deliver clear, concise presentations to subordinates and superiors
- Ability to resolve conflict in a calm, rational, and deliberate manner
- Keep skills current with new software development methodologies
- Preferred: Experience working on large industrial systems development
- Preferred: Fundamental understanding of mechanical engineering
