About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop project cost solutions that meet customer needs, minimize technical risk, and position Emerson for long-term success
  • Interpret customer Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and clarify technical and commercial requirements for stakeholders across the business
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Engineering, Technical Advisors, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and other Emerson teams to incorporate all necessary information into high-quality proposal documentation
  • Prepare and assemble complete technical and commercial proposal packages that align with customer expectations, internal standards, and contractual requirements
  • Provide timely, professional support to Sales and customers regarding proposal content, scope, and pricing inquiries
  • Ensure proposal information is generated, stored, shared, and archived in a structured, secure, and compliant manner
  • Apply and continuously improve best practices, tools, templates, and processes to drive efficiency, consistency, and quality in proposal efforts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field
  • Minimum 2 years' relevant experience
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into clear, customer-focused messages and documentation
  • Demonstrate strong learning agility, specifically in new technologies
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and balance multiple activities, manage deadlines, and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to travel up to 5%
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
