About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Advising on the development and implementation of corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance programs;
Data collection, preparation of flowcharts, diagrams, calculation reports and study documents;
Preparation of basic project designs;
Analysis of projects and technical studies from third-party companies;
Services for configuration, programming, and updating of Emerson Automation Systems;
Management, monitoring and support for GE Digital supervisory systems;
Preparation and execution of system migration projects;
Performing technical audits on equipment;
Commissioning of new technologies for Industrial Automation systems.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Electronic or Automation;
Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in industrial automation, including 2 years in the oil & gas sector (offshore);
Ability to interpret specifications, programs and technical drawings for automation systems;
Advanced knowledge of the MS Office suite;
Desirable knowledge of Emerson's product portfolio such as PACSystems RX3i, VersaMax, QuickPanel+, Machine Edition, etc.;
Ability to specify, support and maintain, and to design industrial automation network architectures involving switches, firewalls and industrial radios;
Availability to travel to client sites and offices;
Availability to work offshore on oil platforms on a 14x14 rotation schedule;
Languages: Portuguese and advanced English.
