About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support People Data Operations Manager by interacting with business unit HR contacts to understand their requirements and needs
  • Guide and coach team members on processes and problem resolution
  • Process HR related data transactions within the HCM system based on information received from business unit HR as it relates to the employee life cycle
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of employee data
  • Provide support for employee transfers across Emerson businesses
  • Provide support to users and resolve questions in all areas of HCM specifically Core HR, Absence and employee self-service
  • Respond timely and accurately to questions that arrive through services box, email and phone
  • Identify and report issues and system errors that impact productivity and/or the employee experience
  • Maintain data integrity and confidentiality
  • Relay feedback to management on process improvement and training materials
  • Support training and development of overall team
  • Keep up to date with knowledge of the software tools that are used to manage workload
  • Attend periodic training to maintain levels of proficiency
  • Assist People Data Operations Manager with special projects, planning, testing and validations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 3 months of relevant work experience, preferably in a multi-country environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting across multiple disciplines and organizational levels.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with supervision while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to understand and apply employment regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain data confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Payroll, Business, or related field of study is a plus.
  • Experience with Oracle applications is a plus.
