About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Test localized software and work with developers to resolve defects
- Build and maintain automated test solutions for localization and i18n quality
- Use and improve localization and QA tools across teams
- Provide i18n guidance and promote best practices
- Design AI‑based solutions for automated screenshot capture and linguistic validation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in software testing, localization, or engineering
- Strong understanding of software design and architecture
- Working knowledge of a high‑level programming language
- Strong English communication skills
- Self‑driven, able to work independently in cross‑functional teams
- Experience in Agile development environments (preferred)
- Experience with software localization or internationalized systems (preferred)
- Knowledge of i18n standards, Unicode, and character encoding (preferred)
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux architectures (preferred)
- Scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, or Bash (preferred)
- Experience collaborating with global teams (preferred)
- Knowledge of NI software and hardware is a plus (preferred)
- Language proficiency: Chinese, Korean, or Japanese (preferred)
