About the role
- Drive investment direction decisions within NI’s aerospace, defense, and government business unit.
- Penetrate and expand NI’s serviceable addressable market by building and prioritizing business cases for new RF test products and systems.
- Work with customers, global R&D teams, and technology partners to develop complete solutions.
- Explore and identify market opportunities, help define strategy, and lead cross-functional efforts.
- Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, and Product Management teams to define product and system roadmaps.
- Monitor key technology trends affecting cutting-edge applications.
- Track government program spending on relevant assets.
- Assess and define new market spaces, including TAM and SAM analysis.
- Develop product and offering objectives and lead design of differentiated products and offerings.
Requirements
- 5+ years working experience in offering management, product management, product planning, new product definition, or related role.
- Technical aptitude and curiosity to develop deep domain expertise.
- Experience in a global and multinational technology company.
- Experience developing and validating business cases and differentiated products or offerings.
- Strong cross-functional team leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other technology-related field required.
- MBA or Master’s degree in technology-related field, demonstrated P/L responsibility, or comparable business experience preferred.
- Experience in commercial aerospace, defense prime contractors, or space sectors strongly preferred.
- Experience with RF technology, especially test and measurement equipment.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%, including international travel.
