About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive investment direction decisions within NI’s aerospace, defense, and government business unit.
  • Penetrate and expand NI’s serviceable addressable market by building and prioritizing business cases for new RF test products and systems.
  • Work with customers, global R&D teams, and technology partners to develop complete solutions.
  • Explore and identify market opportunities, help define strategy, and lead cross-functional efforts.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, and Product Management teams to define product and system roadmaps.
  • Monitor key technology trends affecting cutting-edge applications.
  • Track government program spending on relevant assets.
  • Assess and define new market spaces, including TAM and SAM analysis.
  • Develop product and offering objectives and lead design of differentiated products and offerings.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years working experience in offering management, product management, product planning, new product definition, or related role.
  • Technical aptitude and curiosity to develop deep domain expertise.
  • Experience in a global and multinational technology company.
  • Experience developing and validating business cases and differentiated products or offerings.
  • Strong cross-functional team leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other technology-related field required.
  • MBA or Master’s degree in technology-related field, demonstrated P/L responsibility, or comparable business experience preferred.
  • Experience in commercial aerospace, defense prime contractors, or space sectors strongly preferred.
  • Experience with RF technology, especially test and measurement equipment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%, including international travel.
