About the role
- Perform system maintenance tasks and conduct performance evaluations.
- Provide technical support to customers, lead investigations, and recommend solutions.
- Deliver remote technical assistance (phone, internet) for system architecture and troubleshooting.
- Participate in on-call shift-based services and emergency call-outs to ensure fast and efficient customer support.
- Assist in design studies, hardware and software upgrades, and modifications.
- Support project activities at customer sites, including system installation and application programming.
- Provide on-site customer training for Emerson products.
- Stay current with the latest technologies and products relevant to your role.
Requirements
- A degree in engineering, networking, computing, or electronics control and instrumentation (or equivalent practical experience).
- Knowledge of IT/OT networking, cyber security, virtualization, programming software, operating systems, Active Directory, patch management, backup, and recovery.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
