About the role
- End-to-end delivery of Technical & Commercial Proposals to customers in Europe for Emerson’s portfolio
- Overall management of proposal preparation and order booking process
- Coordinate with sales and operations partners and maintain direct customer contact
- Build and maintain positive relationships with Sales Account Managers and Operations teams across Europe
- Ensure understanding and satisfaction of customer and partner requirements via remote communication or site visits
- Propose innovative and efficient solutions while minimizing execution cost and maintaining schedule and quality
- Proactively inform collaborators of status and challenges
- Acquire, maintain, and share knowledge and experience with the team and wider organization
- Support on-the-job development of other Service Specialists
- Take on responsibilities related to Ethics and Information Security as reasonably instructed by the business
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in an Engineering field
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Experience in commercial and sales support activities (preferred)
- Experience in process automation for various industries (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure (preferred)
- Self-disciplined and autonomous (preferred)
- Experience with CRM systems (preferred)
- Proficiency in another European language (preferred)
