Handle post-sales opportunities: generating spares opportunities, framing Annual Maintenance Contracts, framing rate contracts for spares and man-day service, shutdown jobs, offshore contracts for field products; overall responsible for MSOL LCS Business Growth in South India
Help customers select spares/services according to installed base, considering lead-time and budget
Proactive follow-up of quotations to secure orders
Respond to customer commercial and technical questions by phone and e-mail
Verify purchase orders align with offered financial and technical proposals and resolve order cycle issues
Maintain accurate and complete records in CRM and other tools
Conduct site walk activities for generating leads and conduct workshops for plant shutdowns
Present Emerson MSOL LCS service strengths to customers using presentations
Manage orders POR, accurate planning and forecasting of orders, and regular review
Implement management initiatives for business growth
Tap old installed base for upgrades, revamps and refurbishments
Generate leads for competition displacements
Work with service and operations teams to meet customer deliverables
Work on customer RFQs, submit tenders, engage in commercial discussions and negotiations to close orders
Collaborate with regional Service Sales Engineers, Product Sales Engineers, HO, proposal team and order entry team for RFQs and orders
Requirements
Good Technical knowledge in Level, Flow, Wireless, Corrosion technologies
Work experience on products like PT/DPT/TT, Radar level, Coriolis, Magnetic & Vortex flow meters, Flow computers, associated skid components like pumps, digital valves
Knowledge of Metering Skids, SRV systems, B&T Systems, Gas Chromatographs, flow computers
Good presentation skills and communication skills
Bachelor in Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 4-6 years of work experience in field of Sales (preferred)
Experience on Analytical Systems for Power and Oil & Gas Industry (preferred)
Experience on Emerson field instruments, metering skids and analyzer systems (preferred)
Ability to conduct site walks, run workshops for plant shutdowns, and present to customers
Ability to manage RFQs, submit tenders, and perform commercial negotiations
Maintain accurate CRM and order management records
