About the role
- Develop clear, accurate DCS technical proposals based on customer needs, requirements, and specifications.
- Work effectively with the Regional/Project Engineering teams to develop complete solutions utilizing Emerson products and services
- Coordinate and participate in customer meetings to clearly define scope, promote Emerson’s capabilities and expertise, and present offered solutions.
- Collaborate with other Emerson departments to drive solutions and provide support.
- Review customer orders, determine if the scope accurately reflects the offers, and prepare for order entry.
- Provide leadership support to the proposal team, including coaching, knowledge sharing, and process guidance.
Requirements
- BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of seven (7) years of related experience
- Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems and/or PLCs
- Knowledge and experience with application and process automation systems or distributed control systems
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and balance many activities to adjust quickly in a multifaceted environment
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
