About the role
- Create world-class embedded software for pressure and temperature industrial process measurement devices used in safety and mission-critical applications
- Work with an interdisciplinary team
- Perform Object-Oriented Design and coding of real-time embedded real-time embedded software
- Participate in software requirements activities, including elicitation, analysis, and documentation
- Participate in extensive peer reviews
- Create and execute unit and integration tests
- Debug software and hardware/software integration issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science from an Engineering School
- Two (2) years of applicable experience
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (this is not a position for which sponsorship will be provided)
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- Preferred: An ABET-accredited engineering degree
- Good communication skills and the ability to participate as a member of a team
- Experience with related technologies: C/C++, Object-Oriented Design, UML, real-time operating systems, microcontrollers, serial communication protocols such as SPI, SCI, IIC
