About the role

  • Responsible for planning and executing safety, quality and productivity improvement projects on assembly lines and in the modified products area.
  • Analyze and optimize processes, proposing solutions that reduce risks, increase operational efficiency and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Lead initiatives to optimize business unit inventory, aligning availability, material flow and reduction of excess stock.
  • Support the area's strategic demands, contributing to continuous improvement and manufacturing performance.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Industrial/Production, Mechanical, Electrical or Control & Automation) — currently enrolled and at least in the 3rd year
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Intermediate English for communication with global teams and access to technical documentation
  • Previous experience in continuous improvement projects applying Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, standardization or time and motion studies
  • Experience in discrete manufacturing environments, especially on assembly lines for instrumentation, electro-electronics or industrial equipment
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary projects focused on safety, quality, productivity and waste reduction
  • Familiarity with process data analysis, problem-solving tools (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys, FMEA) and the use of operational KPIs
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle or equivalent) and inventory control tools
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and experience with analysis tools (Power BI is a plus)
