About the role
- Oversee all supply chain deliverables and ensure completion within the NPD phase gate process.
- Act as the primary liaison between project teams and supply chain functions, such as commodity management, supplier quality, compliance, and purchasing.
- Prepare and present supply chain content for project reviews, documenting evidence for gate approvals.
- Delegate tasks and request additional supply chain support as needed, ensuring all team members understand project scope, priorities, and timelines.
- Initiate and manage quoting processes, supplier selection, and organize DFM/DFT discussions among stakeholders.
- Support sourcing activities, focusing on cost, lead times, and supplier quality. Manage all procurement for prototyping and development phases.
- Drive process improvements in supply chain activities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Five (5) years related experience
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Operations preferred
- APICs CPIM or CSCP certifications
