About the role

  • Optimize the EPC proposal process to improve consistency, accuracy, and turnaround time
  • Participate in site walkdowns with potential vendors to gather information needed for competitive bids aligned with customer requirements
  • Create and review Scope of Work (SOW) documents based on site walkdowns, industry knowledge, and process expertise
  • Evaluate vendor bids to ensure accuracy and support best‑cost approaches while minimizing technical risk
  • Partner with project teams to develop efficient outage plans, schedules, and labor strategies
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with existing subcontractors while fostering connections with new vendors to enhance flexibility and options
  • Foster relationships with future potential vendors to increase vendor flexibility and options
  • Collaborate with Procurement teams on vendor qualification processes
  • Assess regional labor requirements, prevailing wages, and project needs to support installation cost estimates
  • Identify opportunities for termination reuse and other cost‑effective project strategies
  • Ensure project scope, deliverables, and estimates reflect Emerson’s high standards for quality and integrity

Requirements

  • BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10 years of relevant experience, such as marketing or engineering with emphasis in control systems and/or process operation
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided for this position
