About the role
- Lead the DeltaV portfolio of cybersecurity solutions and requirements, including compliance with EU Cybersecurity Resilience Act regulations
- Drive new products through the development process to release, collaborating with product marketing, technology, product engineering, project management, lifecycle services, and sales
- Perform voice-of-the-customer sessions and participate in portfolio management to launch or enhance products
- Develop a compelling product vision and 3–5 year roadmap identifying cybersecurity products and software requirements to ensure compliance with process automation system cybersecurity standards
- Serve as subject matter authority to support sales organization in customer engagements
- Act as liaison with technology and support organizations for cybersecurity product discussions with customers
- Create white papers, marketing collateral, and knowledge base articles
- Manage lifecycle status and supported use cases of cybersecurity products with the support organization
- Manage relationships with partners supplying cybersecurity products; monitor updates and end-of-life status and maintain alignment with Emerson strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Computer Science, or a related STEM field
- 5+ years of proven experience with the sale, design, implementation, or life cycle support of process automation systems and/or cybersecurity solutions
- Familiarity with cybersecurity initiatives or practical work experience related to the implementation of cybersecurity solutions
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
- Self-motivated and able to work independently; forward-looking with broad market perspective
- Strong influential management skills and customer-focused mindset
- Preferred: Master of Business Administration
- Preferred: Familiarity or experience with process automation systems
- Preferred: Experience with cybersecurity standards and practices (e.g., IEC 62443) or government agencies
- Preferred: Certifications from qualified organizations such as (ISC)2
