About the role

  • Support the logistics team with data mining, scrubbing, and reporting of various modes of transportation.
  • Ensure the audit activities follow Emerson Logistics’ contract policies and procedures.
  • Work cross-functionally with logistics/site operations, procurement, trade compliance, finance, business intelligence, and other internal stakeholder groups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Financial Accounting, Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation Management, Customs Administration, or other related courses.
  • 5-6 years of relevant experience in audit, accounts payable, billing or invoicing, and/or logistics and supply chain functions (i.e., transportation management system, pricing, order entry, and shipment planning).
  • Working knowledge of Logistics or Transportation Operations.
  • Working knowledge of shipping logistics and associated documentation, regulations, and terminology.
  • Basic understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Transportation Management System (TMS), logistics systems, and tools.
