About the role
- Proactive acquisition of new customers as well as responsible maintenance and expansion of existing customer relationships as the central point of contact for comprehensive support in valve technology within the sales territory (BW/RLP/HE)
- Independent order negotiations and preparation of customer inquiries for the internal sales team
- Documentation of all sales activities in the CRM system as well as active quotation and project follow-up
- Monitoring and reporting of customer-specific KPIs to ensure successful market development
- Travel to conduct customer meetings, build networks and participate in trade fairs and industry events
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, technician qualification or equivalent experience
- Relevant experience in the sales of valve technology and/or in process automation within a technical B2B environment
- Affinity for technology and innovation and strong technical understanding
- Fluent German and English skills
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory (Southwest Germany)
- Driver's license
