About the role

  • Set yearly and monthly financial goals for Distribution Channels or Valve OEMs and help them exceed those goals. Track and report monthly performance.
  • Provide technical support to internal sales teams and customers by reviewing applications and specifying appropriate actuators.
  • Identify white space in assigned territories and develop channel plans to capture these opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales and Project Pursuit leaders to identify and win projects.
  • Work closely with the product marketing team on new market developments and product updates.
  • Become an expert on the products and territories represented.
  • Deliver sales and product training for Distribution Channels, End Users, and EPCs to drive preference.
  • Develop, record, and present insights on the Asia Pacific Actuation market to regional and global management, including competitors, pricing, and product gaps.
  • Maintain full ownership of measuring, tracking, and reporting progress for overall business in managed territories.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define and articulate clear action plans.
  • Proven aptitude in solution-based selling (not limited to price negotiation).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Chinese is an advantage for liaising with Chinese-speaking customers.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence outcomes.
  • Engineering degree with 8 years of sales experience in valve actuation, instrumentation and control systems, or related industry.
