About the role

  • Work directly with certification agencies such as UL, CSA, and Intertek to develop and coordinate test plans and sample requirements in order to acquire third-party certifications.
  • Determine certification cost estimates and continuously work to streamline processes
  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure product designs meet industry-standard requirements and prepare samples for certification testing.
  • Maintain compliance by ensuring product certifications remain up to date
  • Continuously monitor changes in standard requirements and how they impact our products. Recommend innovative approaches to improve product compliance.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related field of study.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with product test work within an engineering development organization.
  • Ability to lift 40-pound boxes and products being evaluated within the lab facility and in completion of testing activities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel globally, up to 15% annually.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Experience with hazardous location certifications
