About the role

  • Build key technical relationships at top accounts by demonstrating strong technical credibility and increasing customer confidence in NI solutions.
  • Understand and assist in the creation of customer technical requirements.
  • Recommend software and hardware architectures and guide customers through the test system development process.
  • Collaborate with NI Account Managers to lead and implement account technical strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal customers to implement technical initiatives and provide customer feedback.
  • Leverage industry, application, and account knowledge to uncover future technical needs and generate demand for NI products and services.

Requirements

  • A BS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Test and Measurement industry.
  • A minimum of 3 years of software programming experience.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regionally and to Austin, TX up to 25% of the time.
  • U.S. citizenship status (required due to government contracts).
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree concentration in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in software design patterns and software engineering concepts.
  • Advanced skills in LabVIEW, .NET, Python, or C++.
  • 5+ years of NI LabVIEW and TestStand development experience with certifications.
  • Experience developing and supporting automated measurement systems.
  • Knowledge of RF fundamentals, radar, and electronic warfare technologies.
  • Familiarity with NI PXI and modular instruments (RF, mixed signal, digital).
  • 2+ years of FPGA and fixed-point algorithm programming experience.
  • Domain expertise in ADG testing methodologies and workflows.
  • 2+ years in a customer-facing engineering role.
  • Experience contributing to strategic initiatives and account planning.
  • Ability to integrate business, operational, and interpersonal considerations into technical engagements.
