About the role
- Take full ownership of the release, managing the entire end-to-end process and taking the lead in defining, tracking, monitoring and managing release scope, schedule, cost and quality
- Make bold decisions to overcome roadblocks, mitigate risks, and overcome challenges that could delay or derail the release
- Take proactive ownership of release risks by managing, prioritizing, mitigating, and addressing potential challenges
- Own, develop and execute strategic release forecast and plan, set clear milestones to keep the releases on track
- Lead, inspire and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Communicate clear, actionable and regular updates to stakeholders
- Take actions to solve unexpected issues, recommend solutions, and keep the release moving when challenges arise
- Ensure compliance with corporate new product development process, environmental and legislative requirements, and safety and cybersecurity standards
- Drive initiatives for continuous improvement and efficiencies
- Lead post-release evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science
- 5+ years of experience in process control, automation technology and project/program management
- Proven track record of managing and successful delivery of projects, programs, or releases
- Proven track record and ability to manage multiple long-term projects simultaneously to a successful outcome
- Demonstrated ability to lead people without direct reporting relationship (influence management)
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
- Demonstrated self-starter
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
