About the role

  • Analyze requirements and ensure appropriate test coverage.
  • Design and implement test cases based on software requirements with minimal guidance.
  • Use Azure DevOps Test Plans for test management.
  • Implement test cases and report issues comprehensively, aligning test execution with release schedules.
  • Apply industry-standard software quality assurance methods and terminology, including functional and non-functional testing.
  • Participate in the QA guild and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate proactively about test creation, execution, and defect resolution.
  • Develop automated solutions for test execution under supervision.
  • Perform functional tests using tools like Selenium, Python, and SoapUI.
  • Monitor system performance.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or a related role.
  • Oracle Applications frontend and backend knowledge
  • Strong critical-thinking skills for analyzing and solving simple problems.
  • Advance understanding of software engineering technical concepts and principles.
  • Awareness of the capabilities and limitations of test automation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies is essential.
