Work effectively with legacy systems and be able to understand and maintain existing codebases

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of commercial Golang development experience
Experience with modern versions of Go and idiomatic Go practices, including the use of up-to-date linters
Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL), including large-scale databases (multiple TB), and understanding SQL query optimization techniques
Practical experience with message queues and brokers, including development of producers and consumers
Experience writing unit and integration tests
Participation in code reviews
Strong understanding of API design principles and hands-on experience integrating with external systems
English proficiency at B1 level or higher, with confident conversational skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, OpenCode, Codex CLI, Codex App)
Experience with Swagger and OpenAPI
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including understanding of service deployment workflows
Experience building observability solutions (logging, metrics, tracing)
