About the role
- Support the Federal Electronic Health Records Modernization (FEHRM) office as a Joint Cybersecurity Analyst
- Coordinate across cyber operational processes and teams within DoD, VA, and the joint EHR environment to mature cybersecurity capabilities
- Apply advanced knowledge of modern cybersecurity frameworks, including Zero Trust
- Utilize hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and secure networks to assess and mitigate risks
- Design and implement systems that comply with federal cybersecurity policies and regulations
- Lead and monitor the migration of EHR data to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Plan and conduct cybersecurity tabletop exercises to validate controls and response procedures
- Develop and deliver briefings, reports, dashboards, and metrics for management and leadership
- Identify, escalate, and track cyber risks, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies in a multi-stakeholder environment
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related technical discipline
- 10+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, IT, or related technical fields
- Experience coordinating cybersecurity operations across multiple agencies and stakeholders
- Hands-on knowledge of cybersecurity tools, secure networks, intrusion detection, and risk management frameworks
