About the role
- Support end-user engagement and adoption initiatives for the VA EHRM Integration Office
- Review and ensure 508 compliance for all materials, including dashboards, websites, and outward-facing communications
- Collaborate with Change Management and training teams to integrate accessibility compliance into strategies and project plans
- Proactively track communications initiatives, identify risks, and escalate issues early
- Develop and maintain tracking tools for communications projects and performance metrics
- Create routine and ad hoc reports to summarize findings, status, and recommendations
- Present analytical insights in clear, accessible formats for leadership and stakeholders
- Assist in optimizing communications processes to improve efficiency, compliance, and engagement
- Support cross-functional collaboration between project teams, training teams, and leadership
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional work experience
- Experience creating, applying, and maintaining tools to track program, project, or task performance data, including cost, schedule, and performance metrics
- Experience developing routine and ad hoc reports
- Ability to present analytical findings clearly in both narrative and graphical formats
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, or related field (an additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree)
- Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or similar federal healthcare environments (preferred)
- Experience implementing electronic health record (EHR) systems (preferred)
- Knowledge of 508 accessibility compliance and strategies for integrating accessibility into communications and training materials (preferred)
