About the role
- Coordinate with technical and functional teams from VA, DoD, and Cerner to ensure successful delivery of IAM capabilities supporting the joint EHR.
- Manage ODCIO IAM activities associated with site deployments, training, and ongoing operational requirements.
- Provide support for EHRM-IO documentation needs and reporting requirements.
- Maintain stewardship of action items and decision tracking to ensure accountability and follow-through.
- Support meeting facilitation, including agenda preparation, documentation, and follow-up actions.
- Track project costs, schedules, performance metrics, and overall progress.
- Identify risks and issues and support mitigation planning and resolution.
- Apply project lifecycle and project management methodologies to support program execution.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional work experience
- Experience managing Information Technology–related projects
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle and project management methodologies
- Experience tracking cost, schedule, and performance progress
- Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate project risks
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or a related scientific/technical discipline
- An additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirements.
