Lead field-facing pre-deployment analyses and assessments to ensure coordination with EHRM IO workstreams.
Provide program management accountability, including workplan development, data analytics, team task assignment, and execution tracking.
Serve as the primary point of contact for coordinating functional workflow configuration projects and efforts.
Facilitate assessment, alignment, and optimization of clinical and functional areas to meet EHRM-IO pre-deployment requirements.
Align clinical, technical, and executive stakeholders across the organization to support project success.
Act as a liaison between Wave/VISN sites and external entities (EHRM IO, VHA, OHT, Oracle Health) to maintain open communication channels.
Apply project and program management methodologies to ensure on-time delivery, scope alignment, and quality standards.
Identify, manage, and report on project progress, issues, and risks, escalating gaps and unresolved critical risks to leadership.
Collaborate with teams and individuals to develop and propose mitigation strategies for government leads to implement.
Requirements
5+ years of professional work experience in healthcare IT, program management, or related fields.
Demonstrated ability to independently design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing systems in a healthcare/clinical environment.
Expertise in systems integration, healthcare informatics, interoperability, and multi-platform compatibility.
Proven ability to lead projects from initiation through completion.
Experience performing feasibility analyses and providing recommendations to management.
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare IT, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related technical field; an additional 10 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
Previous experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or similar healthcare organizations.
Experience implementing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including pre-deployment planning and workflow optimization.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across diverse stakeholders.
Flexibility and willingness to travel up to 70% to support nationwide deployment efforts.
