About the role

  • Research the market and generate leads through call blitzes and promotional campaigns that coincide with company initiatives as needed.
  • Support sales team’s efforts to win business through competitive sales techniques and knowledge of the company's products and services.
  • Understand and support established sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to customers.
  • Provide administrative support to team by generating reports, logging support tickets, and processing deals for assigned reps and on other projects as needed.
  • Create sales quotes as required by sales, Management, and solicitation responses.
  • Utilize internal customer relation management (CRM) system to create and copy sales opportunities, update existing opportunities, document transaction history, and process sales orders.
  • Provide information and/or follow up with customers as requested.
  • Attend customer calls as well as forecasts calls with the manufacturer as required.
  • Other job tasks in support of the sales team, as assigned.
  • Maintains updated, organized files on all accounts in assigned territory.
  • Builds and maintains quality relations with existing assigned accounts.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 0-2 years’ experience providing administrative support in a sales environment or previous customer services experience.
  • MS Office, proficient in Excel
  • Ability to learn Adobe Technologies and develop technology acumen
