About the role
- Support, monitoring and administration of the entire network environment (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN)
- Installation and maintenance of network components such as switches, routers, firewalls and access points
- Analysis and resolution of network incidents and optimization of network performance
- Participation in the design and implementation of security measures and network infrastructure projects
- Documentation of the network infrastructure and all changes made
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration or a comparable qualification)
- Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing, switching, VLANs and VPNs
- Experience with network components and systems from vendors such as Cisco, HPE, Fortinet or similar
- Understanding of IT security requirements in network operations
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Strong team and communication skills
- Good German language skills, both written and spoken; English skills are an advantage.
