Key responsibilities & impact

Visit operating companies to assess performance and operations, including major projects to build relationships
Ensure CEO is apprised of any high-risk scenarios across assigned operating companies
Provide coaching and mentorship to leaders at assigned operating companies
Review weekly bid opportunities
Observe operating company WIP meetings and provide feedback to company leadership
Work with newly acquired entities to ensure timely development and deployment of corporate processes and procedures
Participate in acquisition activities to support operation processes
Review all financial statements, especially cash
Mentor on topics like leadership and project management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related areas of study
Minimum of 20 years progressive experience in managing and leading both small- and large-scale construction projects
Direct P&L responsibilities for operating companies in portfolio
Responsibilities for multiple operations over a large domestic geographic area
Successful oversight of a larger electrical operating company, especially those specializing in high-voltage work
Oversight of or experience working with publicly traded companies
Proven track record of effectively growing operations while maintaining a commitment to Ethics and Safety.
