About the role
- Oversee large-scale building automation projects
- Manage budgets, schedules, and technical execution
- Ensure compliance with control specifications
- Collaborate daily with General Contractors and Design Engineers
- Drive growth through strategic business development and client relationships
- Mentor teams to strengthen the automation division
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
- 10+ years in automation and mechanical trades
- Project management and design-build experience in DDC
- Strong understanding of building automation and controls systems
- Ability to interpret control sequences and specifications
- Proven track record in business development, sales, and contract negotiation within the automation industry
- Proficiency in MS Project, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with BIM and other construction technologies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to travel as needed.
