About the role

  • Provide financial and cost accounting functions.
  • Perform specialized financial and cost analysis (e.g., cash-flow analysis, variance analysis); prepare related reports.
  • Support departments throughout the company with financial analysis and cost accounting data.
  • Assist with the implementation of company’s corporate policies and procedures.
  • Review financial and internal controls to determine adequacy.
  • Support the billing process, review price accuracy, calculate annual price escalation.
  • Prepare the annual budget and monthly forecasts.
  • Participate in the implementation of the company’s planning and reporting software.
  • Assist with preparation of audited financial statements.
  • Perform accounting functions including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with a major in Accounting, Finance or related area required.
  • Generally, 2-4 years of cost accounting and financial analysis experience required.
  • Experience in performing general administrative support activities related to aircraft programs.
  • Knowledge of cost and financial accounting principles, practices and procedures.
  • PC skills – strong Excel and Power Point skills required.
  • Previous Access and financial planning and reporting systems experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Initiative and achievement orientation.
  • Bi-lingual English/Portuguese preferred.
