Systems Engineer

• Support the Data and Communications Systems team with communication, navigation and surveillance system design and integration activities.
• Develop requirements, description documents, interface control documents, test procedure and reports.
• Support testing, commissioning and troubleshooting activities.
• Capture the engineering specification in Vertical’s modelling & requirements environment, enabling end-to-end traceability for the designed components.
• Perform verification and validation activities to ensure systems meet user requirements and function as intended.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure system compatibility and integration into the platform.
• Lead tasks within the Data and Communication Systems team.
• Deliver designs, take responsibility for hardware & software delivery within your domain, plan, design and execute lab test activities and produce design documentation.
• Stay current with technological advancements and look to implement new technologies into designs.
