About the role

  • Provide excellent technical support to Commercial Aviation operators;
  • Analyze aircraft systems data, observed failure histories, and component removals;
  • Categorize failures by class and produce technical issue characterization reports;
  • Ensure internal teams correctly understand the scenarios reported by customers so that appropriate short- and long-term actions are defined;
  • Provide technical dispositions and mitigations for technical issues;
  • Prioritize field issues for decision-making in multidisciplinary forums with Programs, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and VSS;
  • Communicate and present technical information to stakeholders (customers, suppliers, leadership, and internal teams) regarding the status of technical matters relevant to operations;
  • Monitor and take action based on fleet performance indicators (SR, CR, Availability, etc.);
  • Provide support to supplier management in Procurement forums;
  • Support sales campaigns and the development of requirements for new programs based on lessons learned;
  • Act as the local technical representative to the customer when required, providing technical dispositions and operational support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (completed);
  • Must have active CREA registration or documentation to obtain it;
  • Advanced/fluency in English for reading, writing, and speaking;
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems, with focus on propulsion systems, environmental systems, and cabin/interior systems;
  • Familiarity with maintenance technical publications, line maintenance routines, and aircraft troubleshooting;
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Salesforce;
  • Experience with aircraft data analysis, operational data, programming languages, and statistics;
  • Experience in Integrated Product Development;
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
