  • Independently lead partner conversations as a primary point of contact, from initial outreach through partnership agreement structuring, onboarding, and continued performance acceleration
  • Develop proposals, business cases (e.g., pro-forma and volume-based commission models), and data-driven narratives to land and expand partner relationships as a primary point of contact and trusted advisor
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to expand and deepen existing partnerships by translating Embrace performance data and pet-specific best practices into value-add insights
  • Lead partnership launches by facilitating collaborating with partner Marketing teams to generate Embrace leads, holding partners and internal Embrace stakeholders accountable for launching with quality and speed
  • Provide strategic leadership over various internal infrastructure-building initiatives, including overhauling our account management / CRM processes, developing a library of partner assets, and refining the suite of offerings to partners
  • Work directly with Embrace Marketing, Sales, Service, Business Intelligence, Product, and other teams to advocate for partner needs and showcase Embrace functional expertise to strengthen partner relationships
  • Maintain continuous improvement mindset to drive internal execution in pursuit of new business growth goals – how can we continuously leverage the work being done across Embrace to drive more production from our partners? In doing so, what processes can be made more efficient; what knowledge gaps can be filled?

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5–8+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or management consulting with extensive client-facing experience
  • Demonstrated success owning deals and/or partnerships end-to-end
  • Experience building presentations, business cases, and client-facing materials
  • Background in / knowledge of insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries preferred
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI are important parts of the role
  • Willingness to travel for partner meetings and industry events
  • Comfortable operating with autonomy while also contributing as a hands-on team member
  • Excels at prioritization and managing multiple initiatives at once
