About the role
- Guide, develop, and inspire a high-performing team of accounting specialists, CPAs, and finance professionals.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to inform executive decision-making.
- Oversee post-acquisition financial integration, including intangible asset valuation, purchase accounting, and compliance with IFRS standards.
- Ensure accurate, timely monthly/quarterly financial statements and KPIs for assigned business units.
- Spearhead system implementations, streamline accounting workflows, and support annual audits under IFRS guidelines.
- Advise on complex accounting matters, including revenue recognition (IFRS 15) and multi-element contract analysis.
Requirements
- CPA designation or internationally recognized accounting certification (e.g., CA, ACCA).
- 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years as a controller.
- Proven ability to mentor teams and collaborate across departments in matrix environments.
