About the role

  • Building, growing and managing a team of 60+ engineers over the next 18–24 months
  • Driving technology and architecture excellence across multiple product lines ensuring sound design, scalability and enterprise engineering standards
  • Setting up core processes, tools and governance frameworks for world-class software delivery and quality
  • Ensuring high-quality, reliable and timely delivery for multiple product teams in the US
  • Act as primary India point-of-contact for CTO, Product leaders and Portfolio GMs in the US
  • Prepare the COE to grow beyond 50+ engineers (future 100+ team)

Requirements

  • 15+ years in software development / technology, with at least 5+ years in delivery / engineering leadership roles in India
  • Experience managing multi-team delivery (30+ engineers) for international clients or global product teams
  • Strong background in B2B software, SaaS or product engineering
  • Hands-on Enterprise Software Engineering & Architecture Expertise: Agile delivery (Scrum / Kanban)
  • Deep understanding of enterprise software design including modern UX/UI, modular architectures, scalability, resilience, quality and performance optimization
  • Experience leading or governing architecture for large-scale SaaS or multi-tenant platforms (microservices, APIs, data pipelines, event-driven systems)
  • Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns, API gateways, identity and access management and data security / compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR)
  • Demonstrated ability to review and guide technical design decisions, ensuring consistency across multiple products and teams
  • Experience implementing architecture review boards, technical standards and reference architectures
  • Strong grounding in cloud-native engineering (AWS / Azure / GCP) including infrastructure as code, CI-CD, observability, cost optimization and multi-environment governance
  • Proven track record of hiring, retaining and developing Engineering Managers and Tech Leads
  • Excellent communication skills working with US/Europe stakeholders.
