About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ongoing financial accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger)
Reviewing, coding and posting incoming and outgoing invoices
Preparation and execution of payment transactions
Monitoring of open items and handling dunning processes
Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
Close cooperation with tax advisors and controlling
Maintenance and management of vouchers, contracts and accounting records
Ensuring proper documentation in accordance with HGB
Optimization and further development of accounting processes
Participation in the implementation and use of digital accounting tools

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed commercial/vocational training, ideally with a focus on accounting or finance
Several years of professional experience in financial accounting
Very good knowledge of HGB and basic tax knowledge
Confident use of accounting software and MS Excel
Experience with digital, paperless accounting processes is an advantage
Structured, careful and conscientious working style
High level of responsibility and discretion
Analytical thinking and strong numerical affinity
Independent and solution-oriented working style
Team player with reliable communication skills
Very good German language skills; English skills are an advantage
